Pues para aquellas situaciones en las que la luz es excesiva. Este exceso de luz puede querer mitigarse; por ejemplo; en las siguientes situaciones: Escenas en las que deseamos emplear un tiempo de exposición más prolongado; por ejemplo; para lograr el conocido efecto seda en el agua. Situaciones en las que queremos utilizar una apertura mayor para; de este modo; reducir la profundidad de campo y lograr desenfocar el fondo.
